Based in France since 2010, I am New Zealander and have always worked in the world of specialty coffee and catering. Although I LOVE coffee, I have always wanted to offer my customers an alternative that awakens the taste buds: the chai latte.
In search of a real chai to enjoy at home and to offer in coffeeshops, I decided to create my own range of chai latte recipes. After many attempts, inspiring failures, and recipe tests, the small chai factory, Awachaï, was born in 2022. My goal is simple: to develop the best drinks based on spice powder, some of which is ground directly during manufacturing to preserve all their aromatic power.
I also wanted to design drinks made from organic ingredients, without maltodextrin, and which were easy and quick to prepare, whether on the Marzocco machine at the local coffee shop or at home.
Today, Awachaï supplies coffeeshops, hotels and restaurants in France (but not only!). We remain a family and artisanal business, driven by the passion of doing things well and maintaining our independence while constantly innovating.
